Discover the cosmic elements, the very foundation of all reality.
THE TYPES OF COSMIC ELEMENTS
The sixteen cosmic elements are divided into two groups: tangible and intangible.
These eight elements are so named as they have a very obvious nature and understanding to them. It’s easy to see darkness, feel the air, smell the crackling fire, and so forth.
The elements found in this category are: air, darkness, earth, fire, ice, light, magma, and water.
These eight elements are harder to place and notice in general, sometimes having a very slight or subtle affect on things. Good and evil are not so much detected as experienced, for example, space and time are the same way with the others more or less being the same.
The elements found in this category are: chaos, death, evil, good, life, order, space, time.
Some ancient titanic mystics adopted an ordering system to further classify the elements into another group for study. These ancient wisemen first noticed a seeming system of opposition between the elements when it came to their pure form and function. Speculation has long been indulged on the topic but suffice to say this seems to be a part of most of the cosmic elements. This opposition is not necessarily hostile (after all nothing could have been created from mixing them together if they were) just diametric in their nature and function in general, which in turn, can also work against their opposing element in various ways.
The only exception to this rule is with the cosmic elements of space and time, which do not have any real known or even theorized opposition to each other, not even sharing a complimentary nature, being more independent elements all their own.
Each of the sixteen cosmic elements are explained in some detail below, sharing thier plane of origin along with aspects they embody, and the symbol used to represent them.
