THE PANTHEON
The gods of Tralodren hail from the great Vkar and Xora, the first god and goddess of the cosmos, who sired a divine dynasty which now rules in thier stead.
THE TRALODROEN PANTHEON
RELIGION AND FAITH
Religion and faith play an important part in Tralodren, with a pantheon of gods and their servants both known to enter into the mortal realm from time to time. And while temples, both great and small, dot the landscape alongside shrines and sacred sites, no one is compelled to worship anything. Everyone is free to bend the knee to one or more gods or ignore them altogether.
Beyond the gods are divinities, beings who exist in other cosmic planes and realms and often are seen as helpers to or servants of the gods. Though this line can become blurred at times as several cults centered around these cosmic beings have risen throughout the millennia.
The current Tralodroen pantheon is comprised of sixteen gods. Many religions have their own sects, allowing for a variety of different religious pursuits, not counting the various forms of shamanism and cults that come and go throughout the centuries.

DIVINE GROUPINGS
The current pantheon is divided into three distinct groups, each with a philosophy that governs their objectives and defines their outlook and role in the cosmos. These three groups are: the Light Gods, the Gray Gods, and the Dark Gods.
THE LIGHT GODS
Ganatar, Olthon, Causilla, Asora, Aerotripton, Drued, Panthora
Devoted to regulated development, ordered progression, and enforcing and spreading the basic tenets of civilization.
THE GRAY GODS
Dradin, Saredhel, Shiril, Endarien, Perlosa
Neither fully supports the light or dark outlook over the other, but making sure there could be a choice between the two positions and valuing free will and its protection very highly.
THE DARK GODS
Gurthghol, Asorlok, Khuthon, Rheminas
Support unregulated development and progress and the protection and promotion of the natural ebb and flow of such cycles while allowing the natural order to dominate all.
THE RACE GODS
Aerotripton, Drued, Panthora
In addition to these three groups there's also a subgroup of gods called the Race Gods. These were once mortals who were elevated to divine status and invited into the pantheon upon their deaths. Their unique call and duties are set around the further protection and elevation of the three races from which they once hailed: Aerotripton (elves), Drued (dwarves), Panthora (humans). This subgroup has sided with the Light Gods, giving them an advantage in most situations.
